Located in the small unspoilt conservation village of Elton near Bakewell and in the Derbyshire National Park it is an ideal centre for walks from the doorstep and visiting many of the attractions of the Peak District, Derbyshire Dales and beyond. Whether you come for walking, cycling, touring or just relaxing in the cottage and garden you won't be disappointed. There is much to enjoy in this lovely part of England.

Orchard Farm - parts of which date back to the 16th century – is one of the older buildings in an old village. It faces the sun in a sheltered spot in the lee of Parwich Hill, and is ideally situated on the tranquil edge of the picturesque Peak District village of Parwich, with wonderful walks from the door.
Douglas’s Barn has Five Stars. Like Tom's Barn it is the ideal romantic hideaway for couples of all ages, 'the perfect bolthole - peaceful, luxurious and very welcoming'. Like Tom's Barn it is superbly comfortable, calm and peaceful, yet within walking distance of the village with its shop, pub, church and tennis courts. Unlike Tom's Barn it is quite classily contemporay with lots of stainless steel, glass and leather, a flat screen TV and top of the range kitchen and laundry equipment.

Two wild flower meadows on owners land, one forming part of a nature reserve leading to River Dove at Wolfscote Dale. One mile down river is Dovedale. O.5m from Village and Pub. It has Five Stars and is ideal for couples of all ages, or singles wanting comfort, peace and quiet somewhere absolutely safe. Babies are very welcome, and dogs, but it is not suitable for toddlers or the disabled.
