If you are intending to holiday in this region, we have varied selection of Holiday Homes on the Isle of Man which includes Cottages and Guest Houses offering either bed & breakfast or self catering facilities.
Lying in the Irish Sea between the coasts of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, the Isle of Man measures some 225 square miles and offers a wide variety of landscapes ranging from open moorland, thickly wooded glens, over 100 miles of coastline plus a central range of mountains and hills down to long and sandy beaches on the coast.
The busiest time for the island is during June when the infamous Isle of Man TT gets under way. Started during the early 1900, it included cars but today it is limited to motorcycles and it attracts many thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world.
The capital of the Isle of Man is Douglas where you can experience horse tram rides amid its sparkling array of lights.
Between Douglas and Peel lies St John's - the historic centre of the Island where on Tynwald Day, 5th July, the Manx Parliament meet for an annual ceremony which has its origins during the times of the Vikings.
With its own Parliament, currency, language, stamps, legends and customs, the Isle of Man surely is "Britain's Treasure Island".
Places of Interest include: Great Laxey Wheel, Great Laxey Mine Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway, Peel Castle, Cregneash Village Folk Museum, Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, Great Union Camera, Manx Museum, St John's, Port Erin...
