Set in a landscaped garden with lawns and flowerbeds, it provides the perfect base for a comfortable, peaceful holiday. It is within the grounds of Garraway House, a Grade 2 listed Country House lying on the outskirts of the quiet riverside village of How Caple, 5 miles from Ross, in the beautiful, unspoilt Lower Wye Valley, now a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Gardener's Cottage has its own attractive gardens looking out across a peaceful, wooded valley to farmland. It has spacious accommodation for 8 people.

Cider Mill Cottage once housed the Cider Mill and Granary on the estate. It has recently been imaginatively converted in to a most attractive sandstone cottage with exposed beams. The cottage has a most attractive interior and is very well furnished and equipped, with good quality furniture, some of which are antiques, and comfortable beds. It is a non-smoking cottage. The garden extends to a grassy area with views across the fields to woodland and.there is a summerhouse, barbeque area and garden furniture.
We occasionally allow small well-behaved dogs but in general we advise visitors to consider Gardener’s which is more suitable.
How Caple lies in the heart of the magnificent Wye Valley countryside. It is exceptionally well placed on the borders of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Wales to give easy access to many places of interest

Manor Holding is a Grade II, half timbered, cottage farmhouse in the scattered hamlet of Kingswood, so named after the royal forest of Wyre in whose centre it stands. Traces of the kings’ fortified hunting lodge can be seen in a nearby field.
This ancient oak forest stands on the west bank of the Severn, south of the Ironbridge Gorge. The beautiful countryside around it, much of it classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is rich in historic settlements and other places of interest.
The forest is laced with a network of short and long distance cycling paths (eg Sustrans NCR45/Mercian Way), horse riding trails (eg Sabena Way), as well as separate footpaths; connecting right to the door of the cottage (via the Abberley and Malvern Hills Geopark path).
