Lower Collaton Farm is a traditional old Devonshire farmhouse, dating back to Domesday and before, nestled in the valley of the River Gara. Set in the heart of peaceful countryside it is surrounded by rolling hills where sheep and cattle graze. It is a small working sheep farm with chicken and ducks running in the courtyard. Perfectly placed in the heart of the South Hams, Lower Collaton is just six miles from the coast, and just twenty minutes from Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge.
At the opposite side of the courtyard from the Farmhouse are the old stables, converted into a comfortable two bedded house sleeping four people. To take advantage of the view of the fields and valley, it is an ‘upside down’ house with living area upstairs (stair gate installed).
