A 300 year old (Irish Tourist Board approved) farm homestead situated on the McDonald farm at Lusmagh, Co. Offaly and only 1 Km from the River Shannon.
The Cottage has been lovingly restored, keeping as much as possible of the 'Old World' character while adding all modern comforts. It is located close to the main farmhouse, in a nice farm garden with an orchard.
The wide bridge which crosses the River Shannon to County Galway opens the way to tour the west of Ireland. Banagher is famous for its Irish music pubs, its river cruises, Bog walks and rail tours, great Fishing, (both coarse and salmon and trout.),
