Your pleasant quarters are in the long, low longère, once the tack room for the horses of the château (and the château was the hunting lodge of Diane de Poitiers).
It’s a one-storey building, one-room wide, airy and light.
Outside, the best of both worlds: the privacy of your own walled and fenced garden, with barbecue and games, and the lovely grounds, with tennis court to hire (a good public pool lies 10km away).
A peaceful place for a family to stay - and a well-priced restaurant in nearby Semblançay, recommended by Madame.
