Aquitaine, one of the largest of France's regions is in the Southwest and borders both the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees mountains. It is also known as Bqsque Country or Pays Basque.

It includes the elegant city of Bordeaux and the Bordeaux region, arguably one of the world's most famous and finest wine producing regions. Saint-Emilion, Graves, Pomerol and Médoc are smaller but no less notable and give you a real sense of how wines were once produced.

The region is famous for its cullinary excellence where fois gras, pâté basque, crêpes, truffles and magret de canard frequent the menus of many restuarants.

Bayonne, famous for its bullfighting for hundreds of years is a place where you can witness this controversial event during the season which runs from July to September. During the month of August you can see the Fêtes de Bayonne, a 5 day festival of events that includes bullfighting.

Biarritz, a resort town of the rich and famous has many great beaches and an interesting nightlife with a large number of restaurants, bars, shops and cafes.

Manoir Serenitas.... has been restored from being in a state of total ruin. For this reason we are able to offer a house with lots of character and charm, also incorporating all modern comforts. The building work took two years to complete and everything has been done to a high standard. Two large electric gates open onto the tree lined chemin that leads to the house, at night when the gates open the trees will be illuminated, the drive take you to the roundabout in front of the main entrance doors. The pool is 12 x 9 mtr heated and floodlit at night, a protection system is in place in the form of an alarm. A shady, fully fenced tennis court is situated to the rear of the house partly in the wood.
