Babies are very welcome, and dogs, but it is not suitable for toddlers or the disabled.

The Studio Cottage

This charming, centrally-heated cottage is set in the extensive grounds of a large country home which overlook the Trent Valley to the South and the Dover Beck valley to the North. Although quite small and cosy, it is exceptionally well appointed and equipped and easily earns its English Tourist Board "4 STAR" official rating. It is tastefully decorated, with exposed beams and spot-lighting. It comprises an open-plan lounge, fully-fitted kitchen and dining area, one double bedroom with ensuite shower/wc room and a private patio and sun-deck which overlooks the croquet lawn. Guests enjoy unrestricted access to this and, indeed, all the grounds, which include extensive lawns, spinney and orchard. The interior of the cottage is strictly NON SMOKING.

Douglas’s Barn has Five Stars. Like Tom's Barn it is the ideal romantic hideaway for couples of all ages, 'the perfect bolthole - peaceful, luxurious and very welcoming'. Like Tom's Barn it is superbly comfortable, calm and peaceful, yet within walking distance of the village with its shop, pub, church and tennis courts. Unlike Tom's Barn it is quite classily contemporay with lots of stainless steel, glass and leather, a flat screen TV and top of the range kitchen and laundry equipment.
