Villa Miranda lovely 2 year old split-level semi-detached villa has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and sleeps 4. The entrance hall and cloakroom/w.c., lounge/dining area and kitchen are at the entry/front door level. Patio doors from the lounge and dining areas open onto the large south-facing veranda with fantastic views of the sea and of the village below. The veranda has a patio table and chairs which makes it a favourite spot to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine!
- A smartly tiled circular stone staircase in the entrance hall leads down to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms
- The Master Bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom
- The other bedroom has twin beds and is beside the shower room
- Both bedrooms have doors which open onto the terrace.
- The villa has a bright modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas/electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc.
- Patio doors lead from the kitchen onto a pretty paved area with bougainvillea-covered pergola.
- A hatch between the kitchen and dining area opens up views of the sea, which makes food preparation a pleasure rather than a chore!
- You can see the sea from every room in the house!
- There is Colour TV, Satellite Dish, DVD and CD Players. (If you have a Sky Card, bring it with you if you want extra stations!)
- There is central heating for cooler winter nights
- Bed linen and towels are provided and there is a twice-weekly maid service.
- Villa Miranda has its own private swimming pool which is approx. 7m x 3.5m and 1 - 2m deep
- There are 4 sun beds beside the pool as well as a patio table, chairs - and there is a gas barbeque
Locality (close to: Praia da Luz)
Villa Miranda is situated in the former fishing village of Praia da Luz, close to the town of Lagos in the Western Algarve. The villa is in a quiet cul-de-sac which has private parking. The pretty villa overlooks the village below and has wonderful, sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. The amenities of the village are all within walking distance of the villa. There is a small supermarket and bar within a 5 minute walk and a greater choice of bars/restaurants, shops and the beach are all within a 10 minute walk from the house.
Praia da Luz is only 6 km from the market town of Lagos. Luz has a safe, sandy Blue Flag beach which is protected by the "Rocha Negra" (black rock cliff) at one side and by an old fortress at the other side. There is an attractive promenade which leads down towards the beach from the traditional white and gold church in the centre of the village.
The enviable climate of the Algarve has made it one of the most popular Golfing destinations in Europe!
Golf Courses within easy reach of Villa Miranda...
- Boa Vista Golf (2km) is the newest, and very popular. It is located close to Praia da Luz on the road to Lagos.
- Parque da Floresta (9km) claims the most westerly 18 holes, between Praia da Luz and Sagres.
- Palmares (10km approx) is very picturesque, situated in sand dunes behind Meia Praia beach, to the east of Lagos.
- Alto Golf (9km approx) near Alvor.
- Penina Golf (15km) situated between Alvor and Portimao

Tariff Range: from 525 to 1365 EUR per week

Xmas/NewYear/Easter Periods €770 per week
June, July, August & September rental weeks run from Saturday to Saturday. At other times start days/length of stay are flexible

Prices are for the Villa per week
Deposit of €200 per week is required to secure a reservation - balance payable 8 weeks before start of your holiday
Weeks crossing two price bands are charged on a pro-rata basis
Bed linen, bathroom towels, electricity and twice-weekly maid service are included in the price
