A recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, its history dating from the 12th Century. Harrop Fold is the ideal location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, The Lake District and the coastal resorts of Morecambe, Blackpool and Southport. More locally are the castles of Clitheroe and Skipton, the Abbeys of Whalley and Sawley, the Settle to Carlisle Railway and the Trough of Bowland.
