Accommodation (Self Catering Farm Cottage, sleeps: 4)
Lois Cottages have been carefully restored, maximising the use of light, while retaining many of the original features. The interior decoration is simple, uncluttered and functional.
Both complexes have their own private South facing patios with lawn and views over farmland. There is easy wheelchair access from the parking area which is off road and adjacent to the properties.
Blue Cottage sleeps up to 4 people (2 adults + 2 children).
Ground Floor
There is a lounge/diner, kitchen, family shower room and double bedroom.
A staircase leads from this bedroom to the children's bedroom on the first floor.
The lounge/diner
This room has large glass panel windows and doors on opposite walls and includes a colour TV, video/DVD player, and a selection of books and games.
The kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and washing machine.
The shower room
Shower cubicle, w.c. and wash basin.

This is a large double bedroom with stairs leading to:

Best described like a mezzanine with a small balcony open to the main bedroom, with a low beamed ceiling and twin beds.
Outside
From the lounge/diner there are patio windows leading to a private patio area with a small garden overlooking local fields. There is a guest parking area for up to 4 cars.

Locality (close to: Horsington)
Lois Country Cottages are two Somerset self catering accommodation barn conversions located at Lois Farm a mile from the village of Horsington.
Close to the borders of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, The cottages and the farmhouse are the only dwellings down Lois Lane leading to traditional meadow fields.
The cottages surround a small courtyard adjacent to the parking area. The surrounding countryside retains the small fields bordered by Blackthorn and Hazel hedges. Wildlife includes deer, hares, foxes, badgers, rabbits and a large variety of birds. Adjacent to the farm are clearly marked footpaths and bridleways.
