Accommodation (Self Catering Farm Cottage, sleeps: 6)

Come and enjoy the peace, quiet, superb accommodation, lovely scenery, friendly atmosphere in beautiful surroundings on a working farm, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We can offer accommodation in five holiday cottages of varying sizes, all are delightfully furnished retaining original features, with central heating throughout. We assure you they will be clean and well maintained. Robert and Sheila Rowland live in the farmhouse with their family and are on hand for enquiries.

ANTHONY (sleeps 5/7):
It is the charming wing of our Georgian farmhouse and is self-contained. The ground floor has an entrance porch, lounge (with double bed settee) and fully fitted kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms sleeping 5 and a bathroom with a bath. ETC 3 star grading.

CLOWBERRY (sleeps 6):
It enjoys a sunny aspect overlooking the farmyard and can sleep six. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor, open plan lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The bedroom upstairs has four single beds. ETC 4 star grading, Disability grading - Mobility 1

CORY AND CALMADY (sleep 4/5):
They are two similar and adjacent cottages each sleeping four in two bedrooms upstairs, with bathroom (bath and shower). On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. A single bed can be put downstairs. ETC 4 star grading.

REDE (sleep 2/3):
It enjoys a sea view through French windows opening onto a patio. There is an open plan lounge, fully fitted kitchen, double bedroom and shower room all on the ground floor. A single bed can be put in the lounge. ETC 4 star grading, Disability grading - Mobility 1

We have a cot, high chair and tumble drier for your use and babysitting can be arranged. There is an activities area and pets are welcome by arrangement in two cottages.

Locality (close to: Wembury)

Traine Farm overlooks the coastal village of Wembury with its 15C. Parish Church on the cliff above the bay. The Post Office, village shop and pub are within walking distance.

Ideal location for holidays, families and children of all ages are welcome. We have small animals to enjoy and give pony rides.
It is ideal for couples who enjoy walking, being on the Erme/Plym trail, one mile from the South West Coastal Path, with footpaths crossing the farm.
Explore the South Hams, the lovely beaches and picturesque villages, Dartmoor National Park and the nearby National Trust property of Saltram.

We are within driving distance of the famous Eden Project at St. Austell and Paignton Zoo at Torbay. There are National Trust houses to visit such as Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Saltram and Buckland Abbey, the home of Sir Francis Drake.

The amazing views of Plymouth Sound from Mount Edgcumbe Park just across the River Tamar should not be missed.

The stunning scenery of Dartmoor National Park is within easy reach and Princetown, the highest village in the Westcountry with its prison and interpretation centre is a memorable visit.

Tariff Information

Tariff Range: from 220 to 565 GBP per week

Anthony ..... price range is from £300 - £565 per week depending on season
Clowberry .. price range is from £290 - £555 per week depending on season
Cory ........... price range is from £270 - £535 per week depending on season
Calmady .... price range is from £270 - £535 per week depending on season
Rede .......... price range is from £220 - £465 per week depending on season

Provisional bookings remain firm for one week pending return of booking form and £100 deposit.
The balance is due 1 month prior to the arrival date. Non payment by the due date will be treated as cancellation.
In the event of cancellation, please advise us immediately. We will attempt to re-let the property and return your payment, less a handling charge of £25.00. If we are unable to re-let all monies will be forfeited.
The cottages are available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.
