The cottage provides you with a luxurious, comfortable holiday home as a base from which to explore the surrounding scenery and attractions of which Cornwall is justly proud.
The cottage is double glazed and has night storage heating, electric radiators and fan heater for the colder months.
Bathroom
There is a family bathroom, an en-suite and a downstairs cloakroom. The bathroom has a bath/shower, toilet and washbasin. The en-suite has a shower, toilet and washbasin. The large cloakroom has a toilet and washbasin. All have heated towel rails. There is an under-stairs storage cupboard, with coat hooks.
Kitchen
The spacious kitchen faces the shallow burbling stream that runs through the valley. Comprehensively equipped to a high standard, the kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, an electric whisk and all those other little items that make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable.
Lounge
The large lounge/dining room overlooks the patio area and gardens. The entertainment equipment includes a widescreen TV, DVD and VCR players and a radio/cassette/CD unit.
Bedroom
The master bedroom (with an en-suite) has a double bed. The second bedroom is another double and the third bedroom has two single beds that can be combined (zip and link) to form a large double. All three bedrooms have a double wardrobe, a chest of drawers, two bedside cabinets and a chair.
Extras
We have tried to provide all those extra things that help to make your stay even more comfortable and convenient. Should you have washing to do, there is an iron, ironing board and airer (the site has a laundry facility). A large selection of pots, pans, cooking implements, glasses and crockery makes mealtimes easy. There are books and games to help keep children occupied. Don't forget to bring your favourite films on DVD or video to while away the evenings!
Site Facilities
The site offers peace and tranquillity, whilst being a great area for children to explore. On-site facilities include a café/bar, a laundry, an indoor plunge pool and Jacuzzi, an exercise/training room, three tennis courts and a children’s play area. There is now a coin operated broadband internet terminal in the cafe/bar, so you can search for places to see or send and receive e-mails and keep in touch with work!
The cottage is a non-smoking and pet-free property.

Falmouth sits at the meeting of the Penryn River, the River Fal and the sea. It is an ideal location from which to explore the whole of Cornwall, being located on the south coast, but only 20 miles from the north coast, and roughly halfway down the county.
The town has many varied and interesting shops, an abundance of excellent pubs and restaurants and views that fascinate and inspire.
Falmouth is the third largest natural harbour in the world and is a hive of activity - a veritable sailor’s paradise. You can while away many an hour just watching the boats on the river - anything from a small rowing boat to visiting liners and naval vessels. "The World" - the largest residential liner afloat - was a recent visitor.
Full of history, there is Pendennis Castle, dating back to the time of Henry Vlll (with the smaller St Mawes Castle on the opposite bank of the River Fal). You can swim at the Ships and Castles pool, which offers stunning views of the town and harbour.
From the cottage, the nearest beach is at Swanpool, about 3/4 mile away. Maenporth is just over a mile in the opposite direction and is a pleasant and easy walk.
A short walk from Swanpool towards Falmouth, around the cliff path, leads you to Gyllyngvase Beach. From here you can continue walking along the seafront towards the castle, taking in Tunnel and Castle Beaches and admiring the views of Falmouth Bay.
Maenporth is the best local sandy beach - ideal for building sandcastles! Just back from the beach is the Cove restaurant, from where you can watch the sea view.
Also nearby is St Mawes, on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, which may be reached by car, using the famous King Harry Ferry, or by passenger boat ferry from Falmouth. There are some interesting shops, pubs and restaurants and old streets to explore.
Both St Mawes and Pendennis Castles are complete and maintained in excellent condition by English Heritage. There are many events held throughout the year at both castles, often designed to appeal to adults and children alike.
