Owls Cottage is the perfect choice for families. This cottage has a main bedroom with a double bed, plus a second bedroom with bunk beds, which are ideal for two children. We can provide a travel cot and highchair should you need one, or a fold-up bed in the lounge for an extra person. But don't worry if it's adults who will be using the bunk beds - they are the size of a standard single bed and are fine for adults to use too.

The cottage is all on one level, with just one low step inside the front door, making it easily accessible. Like Bird's Nest, Owls has an open-plan living area, with a kitchen leading off from this. Click here to see a floor plan of the cottage.

The lounge has a country cottage feel, with the original stone walls and beams, and an electric 'woodburner' stove to add a warm glow on chilly winter evenings. You will find lots of brochures in the lounge so you can plan your next day's activities. There's so much to do in the area that we have many repeat visitors returning to do all the things they didn't manage on their first trip (and because they like our cottages too!)

Facilities: The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and coffee machine. A television with Freeview and built-in DVD is provided in the lounge. Owls has a bathroom with bath/shower and a separate toilet. Programmable built-in electric panel heaters in each room and double-glazing throughout ensure that the cottage is warm and cozy, but the thick walls keep it nice and cool in summer. All bed linen and towels are provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival. A washing machine and tumble drier are available at the farmhouse.

Lots of off-road parking and a garden area provide space for family activities, including enough room for kids to let off steam after those long car journeys. Garden tables and chairs are provided, and barbeque facilities are available to make the most of warm summer evenings.
