This traditional Quercy stone barn is set in acres of private grounds in an elevated position with far reaching views across the surrounding tranquil countryside, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The small collection of four self contained and fully equipped holiday cottages is set in a tranquil area of outstanding natural beauty in rural southwest France. The property enjoys beautiful views to the village of Salviac (2km) and across the valley beyond.

We are located on the borders of the departments Lot and Dordogne, and the Dordogne river is only 15 kilometres to the north, where you can hire canoes, swim, fish or take in the attractions of the area, such as Beynac, Castelnaud, Rocamadour and of course Sarlat, with its lively saturday market.

The area is famous for its foie gras, goats cheese and of course Cahors wines, and many of the vineyards and Chateaux are close by, where you can sample and buy the local produce.

Salviac
is a typical Lotoise village on the borders of the departments Lot and Dordogne.
The village has everything for the day to day requirements of our guests, including bakers, butchers, mini supermarket, post office, bank, bars, restaurants and a small weekly market.
It is 15 kilometres west of the Medieval bastide town of Gourdon and 15 kilometres south of Cenac on the Dordogne river

Le Poujols
is ideally placed for exploration of all the famous attractions of the Lot and Dordogne, such as St Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, the grottoes at Padirac, the many adventure parks, Domme, Le Roc Gageac, Beynac and Sarlat with its lively market

• Walking & Cycling
  More than 17 circular routes and numerous marked and unmarked pathways for walkers and cyclists of all abilities. Maps or guides can be provided
  
  
• Fishing
  There are few public trout or salmon fishing waters in France, it is available on privately owned waterways and riverbanks, for which a permit is obtainable. It is allowable to fish for Salmon and Trout on the rivers Dordogne and Lot, which are easily accessible, and these waterways also contain all varieties of Coarse fishing. Significant Carp are to be found in the many natural and man made lakes in the area and if you like to fish for the European variety of Black Bass, the Lot River near Cahors is excellent
  
  
• The complex has football, volleyball/badminton, table tennis, trampoline and a play area for smaller children.
  Tennis is available in the village, horse riding is 4km and lakes with beach for fishing and bathing are nearby
