A stunning holiday house in the beautiful Ardeche region of France, Le Mas du Gros Cailloux is a large 6 bedroom stone built farmhouse, sleeping a maximum of 14 plus 1 cot.
Set in 1 acre of gardens and reached through a traditional French hamlet, it is surrounded by vineyards and farmland in the beautiful Ardeche area.
Features:
- a large living/dining room with open fireplace and 4 double doors leading onto the terrace
- The living room has a 32” LCD TV, DVD player. Satellite with Freeview, free to air and CD player.
- The fully appointed kitchen has a dishwasher, utility room with washing machine and dryer, ironing facilities and hairdryer.
- The first floor has 3 double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, all with king size beds and 1 twin room
- There is also a bathroom with separate toilet on this floor
- The ground floor has a further 2 bedrooms, one double ensuite and one twin
- All bedrooms are newly furnished and decorated in 2008.
- Outside in the private garden is a new 8m x 4m heated swimming pool (pool towels provided), and a children’s play area in the garden adjacent to the house.
- There is covered parking for 4+ cars.
Locality (close to: Vallon Pont D'Arc)
Located in the beautiful Ardeche region of France, our holiday house is set in 1 acre of private gardens, with its own swimming pool.
A beautiful and tranquil location within easy reach of local villages, beauty spots and sports activities.
The house, set well off a quiet country road in a wide valley is 1.5 miles (2km) north of Vallon Pont D'Arc and 47 miles north of Nimes airport, or between 500 and 600 miles (830 and 1000km) from a Northern France ferry port. Travel by car is mostly by motorway except for approximately the last 40 miles (60km).
During your holiday you can visit Barjac, Vogue, Ruoms and the larger town of Aubenas for the Saturday market or wander through the old streets of Uze's.
You may wish to travel further afield to the Roman ampitheatre at Nimes, the palace of the Popes at Avignon, Montelimar the home of nougat or Le Puy with its unique basalt peaks and Aix-en-Provence. The coast is also within easy reach.
The Ardeche is known for its fast flowing river that has carved narrow gorges into the valley creating one of the most breathtaking canyons in France.
This is the perfect house for a wonderful holiday in France.

Tariff Information
Tariff Range: from 1250 to 2500 GBP per week
Change over day is Sunday.
Price includes linen and towels (including pool towels).
A booking should be accompanied with a non-refundable deposit (25% of the total rent due). Following receipt of the booking, the owners will send a confirmation invoice and statement. This is a formal acceptance of the booking. Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period should be settled with the owner's representative on site before departure.
The balance of the rent is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the owners reserve the right to give notice in writing that the booking is cancelled. The client will remain liable to pay the full balance of the rent unless the owners are able to re-let the property. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
A security deposit of £500 is required to be paid with the rental balance, in case of damage to the property or its contents. However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the client's liability to the owners. After the rental period, the owners or their representatives will mail the deposit back to the client, refunding the deposit, after confirming no damage to the property or its contents.
