- The well proportioned shower room is fully tiled and has fitted a new shower, toilet and wash stand/vanity unit.

Burgundy considers itself the heart of France, a prosperous region with world-renowned wine, earthy but excellent cuisine and magnificent architecture. Franche-Comté to the east combines gentle farmland with lofty alpine forests..
Burgundy is a wealthy region, a centre of medieval religious faith that produced Romanesque masterpieces at Vézelay, Fontenay and Cluny. Dijon is a splendid city, filled with the palaces of the old Burgundian nobility and a collection of great paintings and sculptures in the Musée des Beaux Arts. The vineyards of the Côte d'Or, the Côte de Beaune and Chablis yield some of the world's most venerated wines.
La Ferté is the ideal place for a relaxing half-day. This is a m a n -ma d e lake with a sandy beach, pedalos , shady wood, picnic tables, and café. Close by is the site of the first m o n a s t e r y founded by St. Etienne, with guided tours in English.
Chagny is in the opposite direction to Chalon, along the Route des Grande Vins. It is a centre for boating on the canal that links the R i v e r s S a ô n e and Loire. There is a swimming pool, many restaurants and a Sunday morning market.
Chalon sur Saône is about 8 miles away and is a major town. It has theatres , cinemas , restaurants and cafés, museums, parks , swimming pool, sports and other recreational facilities, together with an excellent shopping area. Parking is always readily available.
