Accommodation (B&B + Self Catering Manor House, sleeps: 8)

Set on the first and second floors of the mill, the gîtes are light and airy and afford magnificent views from every room.
Every gîte sleeps 2 to 4 people and in total Salazar can accommodate up to 16.

Each gîte comprises

a double bedroom with fitted wardrobe
a good sized bathroom with shower
an American style fully fitted kitchen
a dining/sitting room

In the suites:

Excellent quality bath and bed linen
Each kitchen is well equipped and contains a set of crockery, glasses and cutlery for up to 6 people

A portable CD/cassette/radio player
A washing machine is situated on the 1st floor
Steam iron and ironing board
A cool box
A selection of books, games and DVDs at your disposal

Two little rowing boats with electric motors
Petanque court and boules
The swimming pool is cleaned everyday and regular checks are kept on the PH balance
Al-fresco dining tables and chairs can be found dotted all around the property, including the small beach area, along with good sized barbecues

The Welcome Pack
Along with a welcoming bottle of local wine we provide a bottle of mineral water and sparkling water, some fresh coffee, instant coffee, and a selection of teas together with some sugar and milk. For those clients who may arrive outside of supermarket opening times we can always arrange to purchase some food items on their behalf should this be of assistance.

The Mill Room
A large area to dine and relax overlooking the mill stream. The beautiful old wooden table seats up to 14 people

Built in ancient stone with the splendour of its setting and grounds, Salazar possesses a rustic charm and captivating natural beauty.

The mill still has working features and the river, which runs under the building, is controlled by a series of sluices and canals.

Entering the old mill room - with the original grinding stone and ancient equipment still in working order - you feel that time has stood still. It is the perfect place to relax, listen to music or the burbling water and enjoy an evening drink.

There are lots of places to relax and unwind including:

12m by 6m floodlit swimming pool with a solar powered shower & a terrace of 200m2 with areas for sunbathing & relaxing & nearby barbecue & dining facilities
A fitness area, petanque court, pool room and table tennis area situated next to the swimming pool
A typical French garden with its box hedging and two small lawns. The French garden is skirted by a small stream
A stroll along the banks of the mill stream will lead you to Salazar's hidden treasure - a lovely little white shingle beach with a gentle water cascade. A perfect place to take a picnic or unwind with a glass of "Coteaux du Quercy"
A fishing pool stocked with carp, chub and trout. It is a peaceful and sheltered area which attracts a lot of wildlife including kingfishers, herons and two very shy terrapins

There are numerous concerts and festivals each month - please ask Paulette for an up to date list.
The Montauban Jazz festival is normally held in the month of July.
