At Eisteddfa we offer self catering cottages, large group accommodation and fishing.

Eisteddfa means "resting or sitting place" in Welsh and was used as such by the pilgrims on their way to Bardsey.
Both the Armstrong-Jones and Lloyd George family have lived at Eisteddfa and is still owned by the family.

Locality (close to: Criccieth)

The cottages enjoy a lovely quiet position at the end of a long, private tree lined drive, with glorious views over the surrounding mountains to Snowdonia and the forest.

Although secluded and peaceful, they are not isolated, being only 1.5 miles from all the amenities of Criccieth, with the resorts and beautiful sandy beaches of the Lleyn peninsula within very easy reach.

The Criccieth Musical Festival is held every June.
It won the Town in Bloom competition for the whole of Europe which has made it worth a visit and to taste the famous Cadwalader ice cream. There are numerous good eating places here as well.

Eight miles away is the increasingly popular marina in Pwllheli, which is the gateway to the Lleyn Peninsula, Portmadog, Portmerion, Ffestiniog Railway and the Snowdonia National Park.

It is only an hours drive to famous Bodnant Gardens.

You can play golf at Criccieth, where discounts are available, and on several other golf courses within 8 miles.
