Downstairs
- The large well equipped eat in kitchen is finished in light oak units and has plenty of work surfaces making meals a pleasure to prepare.
It has everything you would expect, including, Electric oven, grill and four ring halogen hob, fridge and freezer, washer dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, food-processor plus all the pans, plates, cups, glasses, serving bowls etc etc that a family of 6-7 are ever likely to need, plus a table comfortably seat 7.
- From the Kitchen you move through to the pretty dining room with exposed stone work and a dining table for 6-7, from there an archway takes you through to the Sitting Room with plenty of comfy seating plus a log burning fire, the sitting room is also well equipped with Sky satellite TV, Video reorder/player, DVD player, CD player, books and games.
- French doors lead onto the enclosed private patio with stunning cliff views.
- In addition there is a small study which can be used to accommodate a 7th person on a Z-bed or is often used by families with babies who would prefer the cot to be in a separate room from them.
- There is also a Cloakroom with a large cubicle power shower.
Upstairs
- There are two twin rooms and a double room, the double room, decorated in a soothing blue is very spacious and has wonderful sea and cliff views from the bed.
- Next door, the slightly larger of the a twin rooms, decorated in a sunshine yellow also has sea and cliff views.
- The third room, decorated in a calming green is another twin and overlooks the garden with views to Golden Cap, the highest point on the South Coast.
- There is also a modern bathroom with a shower over the bath and a seaside mural over the bath which is a big hit with our younger guests.
Outside
- There are two outside areas, the enclosed patio and the terrace.
The enclosed patio has a wooden garden furniture set that seats six along with a further wooden bench and the terrace has a stone garden furniture set that also seats six plus a further wooden bench, a BBQ is also provided.
- There is private parking available for two cars at the house.
- All linen, towels and tea towels, with the exception of beach towels, are provided.
- We welcome children and have a highchair and a cot available free of charge should you require them.
- There is a pay-phone available at the house.
- Smoking is not permitted in any part of the house.
Locality (close to: Seatown)
This Beautiful coast line, known as the Jurassic coast has World Heritage site status due to it’s important fossil sites and classic coastal geomorphologic features.
Sitting right on the 630 mile South West Coastal path in the shadow of Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast, Seatown is the perfect base for exploring this stunning scenery.
For lazy days or laid back evening’s the local pub, The Anchor, is only minutes walk from the house and offers good quality food including locally caught fish and shell fish. Or just half a mile up the road in the local village of Chideock the George inn pub is highly recommended and often has live music at the weekends which is great fun.
If you want to explore a little further there are so many options available to you from the bustling fishing town of Lyme Regis, the 18 mile Chesil beach, the famous Abbotsbury Swannery complete with subtropical gardens and childrens farm to lama trekking there is so much to do you might have to come back!

Tariff Information
Tariff Range: from 450 to 1150 GBP per week
The Guard House week starts and ends on a Friday.
Weekly Rates range from £450 in the Low Season to £1150 in the High Season
Short breaks are offered in the low season 31st October - 31st February (excluding Xmas and New Year).
Weekend breaks are offered Friday to Monday and Mid week breaks Monday - Friday.
The cost of each break is £320.
