La Croix du Reh dates from 1620 when an inn was built on the site on the orders of King Henry IV. Over the years it has been used for different purposes, but now, as a chambres d'hôtes (bed and breakfast), "La Croix" has come full circle .. The Garden Entrance to La Croix du Reh is the main entrance to the chambres d'hotes (bed and breakfast), and where our guests get their first glimpse of the tranquil four-acre park which is theirs to enjoy during their stay. Enjoy afternoon tea in the garden, or dinner in the open air on a warm summer evening. Summer or winter, there's a warm welcome in the Salon with original oak beams, a large open log fireplace . . . and satellite TV.
La Croix du Reh is open all the year round, and in the spring our guests are greeted by an abundance of colour in the park and garden. High summer, and the landscaped park shades the house and helps keep it cool during the hottest part of the day. The picturesque lake with its sandy bathing beach is only 350 meters from La Croix and has proved popular with many of our guests in the summer for an early morning dip! Fancy a game of boules? Then look no further than your own back yard! The boules court in the park at La Croix du Reh is sheltered from the sun by conifer trees and
can provide an enjoyable interlude.
We will make every effort to supply our guests each morning with a print-out of the local weather conditions and forecast. Departing guests can be supplied with a forecast of the weather for their destination.

If you need any help with information about Limousin region, property and prices, we are also working for one of the French Estate agencies. We have books with all properties listings at B&B, so you can browse through them at you own time, with the glass of wine in front of the fire or on the terrace. Usually in France all Estate Agencies are closed on Sundays. We can arrange your property viewings for any day of the week, including Sunday
