Locality (close to: Penrith)

Reagill is a small hamlet in the Eden Valley 4 miles from Shap, 7 miles from Appleby in Westmoreland and 12 miles from Penrith. The lakes of Hawsewater and Ullswater are approx 20 mins away by car. With stunning views to the North Pennines and within close proximity to the Lake District National Park, the property is ideally suited for lots of outdoor activities.

If you just wish to relax and get away from it all then the comfortably furnished propety with wood burner makes it a lovely place to unwind. There are lots of places to explore in the area including the market towns of Penrith, Appleby and the towns within the Lake District National Park. If you wish to go further afield there is good access to Dumfries and Galloway and Hadrians Wall country.

There are numerous inns and pubs in Shap, Crosby Ravensworth, Askham, Bolton, Morland that provide lovely home cooked food and there are plenty of small cafes in the towns for snacks.
