This 18th century Italian Farmhouse, Casa Colonica has been fully restored to a high standard, maintaining its original features and charm,
yet offers top quality accommodation, a large swimming pool with stunning views of the mountains, a large terrace and dedicated kitchen is at the guests’ disposal.
- Il Melograno offers all accommodation with en-suite facilities, plus a fully contained and independent apartment for 4 people.
Each bedroom has a private bathroom, independent heating, old-style ceiling fan and TV with DVD player - on request.
- All bedrooms have a rustic feel with stone walls, wooden beams, antique furniture and have splendid views over the valley and the mountains.
- A warm and inviting communal room and a large panoramic terrace are at the guests' disposal.
- The terrace is covered during summer months offering many chairs and benches.
- It is rented as a Self Catering Villa during the summer and as a B&B the rest of the year.

- Swimming pool and grounds
In the grounds guests can relax by the secluded and panoramic swimming pool, which is in an elavated position with spectacular views and is privately fenced off.
- Function room / Other services
We can assist guests with translations, airport collections, day trips and can offer full-board hospitality to a group wanting to use the premises for a course or retreat.
The bright and spacious function room is ideal for holding weddings, special occasions and courses -such as painting, photography or yoga - or used for business conference.

- Holistic Massage
We offer holistic massage treatments with a fully trained and qualified masseur through the London College of Massage.
Guests can choose a tailor-made treatment to suit individuals needs or simply enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating massage.
- Breakfast
Served between 8:00 and 9.30 am on the veranda or in the welcoming dining room and comprises of cereals, fruit juices, home baked cake or tart, homemade jams, toast and milk, tea or coffee.
We do not serve lunches.
- Evening meals
Served to guests staying in the Agriturismo who make the reservation early in the day, thus guaranteeing a cosy and familiar ambience and a genuine cuisine.
Alternatively we are pleased to help guests discover a variety of very good local restaurants in order to enjoy a wide choice of local specialities as possible.

Activities:
- Guests have the use of a large open-air swimming pool and vast grounds which are ideal for a variety of outdoor games or relaxing pastimes such as walking, yoga and bird watching.
Mountain bikes are also available to hire for those wishing to explore the country lanes and local countryside.
- Local and mountain walking routes for all levels, hiking and climbing, horse riding with two local riding centres, fishing, tennis, painting, photography, cycling, motor cross go-carting.
- Shopping
Le Marche is well known for its quality footwear, with many discount designer outlets to choose from.
We can advise you on local outlets or organise accompanied trips to your favourite brands , such as Prada, Walk Safari, Tod's, Hogan, Fay, Roberto Cavalli, Fabi, Docksteps, Cesare Paciotti, Fessura, Momo & Geox. Furthermore, there are also many artisans making handbags, leather goods, hats, pottery and lace work.
- Local Markets
From early to late summer antique markets are held in Ascoli Piceno, San Benedetto and in Fermo, where a famous evening market is held weekly. It's another intriguing place to visit, offering a higher quality range of goods from antiques, collectors' items and many different local handmade crafts, pottery and gifts.
- Coastal & Beach resorts
We are just 20 mins from the sandy beaches of Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso. Most coastal resorts are protected by rocks, that have created ideal conditions for families and children swimming.
Water sport enthusiasts will find wind & kite surfing, sailing and jet bikes on offer.
- Golf
Just 40 mins away from us is the Conero, a regional park south of Ancona, apart from its stunning beaches it also offers a 18 hole championship golf course and a 9 hole executive course,
In Montefiore, just 20 mins away, there is a challenging 9 Hole golf course .
- Chalets, restaurants and bars are dotted all along the coast, offering excellent sea food dishes and local specialities throughout the summer and most are open till late.
