Cannville House provides the perfect base for touring North Clare, The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Aillwee Caves, Doolin Cave, Aran Islands and many other attractions.
Locally there is fishing, golf, pitch n' putt, swimming, surfing, cycling, country and cliff walks, guided tours, caves, castles, ruins, dolmens, ring forts, heritage centres, boat cruises, etc.
Lisdoonvarna is famous for its mineral waters which are rich in iron, sulphur, magnesium and calcium and were said to provide relief for certain diseases.
It was because of the popularity of these mineral springs and the huge amount of people coming here that led to the Lisdoonvarna "matchmaking tradition".
The tradition is still celebrated with a festival held in its honour throughout the month of September.
Other Places to visit include:
- The Burren
an amazing place. It is a karst limestone region of approximately 300 sq km which lies in the North West corner of Co Clare, in Ireland. It is composed of limestone pavements, which are eroded in a distinctive pattern known as karren.
- Poulnabrone Dolmen
This dramatic site, on the karstic limestone pavement of the Burren, is one of the most famous Irish dolmens. The name Poulnabrone literally means 'The hole of the sorrows'
- Aran Islands
Here, on the very edge of Europe, is an Island rich in the language, culture and heritage of Ireland, unique in its geology and archaeology and in its long tradition of gentle hospitality.
- Doolin Cave
Doolin Cave is home to a wondrous geological phenomenon - The Great Stalactite. Measuring almost 7 metres in length, it is one of the largest free hanging stalactites in the world and the longest stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere.
- Lahinch Seaworld - aquarium, swimming pool, play area
- Corkscrew Hill - scenic drive with picnic areas

Tariff Information
Tariff Range: from 30 to 40 EUR per night
- Double Room with En-suite ............ 32 euro per person sharing.
- Twin Room with En-suite .............. 30 euro per person sharing.
- Family/Triple Room with En-suite ..... 32 euro per person sharing.
- Single Occupancy ..................... 40 euro per night.
Children under 12 receive a 50% discount when sharing a room with a parent.
Children under 2 years are free.
Rates for Month of September and Bank Holiday week-ends are 35 euro PPS, with a minimum two night stay.
