You will be staying in a deluxe apartment within the Chateau de Percey (sleeps 10 persons) which has a large lounge, a dining room and a study.
The decor is modern with antique accents plus, contemporary art of international artists.

There is a possibility to rent-the-chatelaine-as-a-cook for private dinner parties.
The cook as a maid's service are optional.

Chateau de Percey is located in the departement of Yonne which lies in the north of the Burgundy region. It is essentially an agricultural region with acres of rolling farmland interspersed with woodland and forests. On the steeper slopes you will find many vineyards of some famous wine regions such as Chablis, Auxerrois and Tonnerrois.

Chateaux & Abbeys

• The chateau's of Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc are the nearest and most interesting to visit.
  
• A little further away lies the pentagonal chateau de Maulnes.
  
• Twenty minutes away the Abbey of Pontigny, one of the 3 famous abbeys in the region.
  
• The others are Fontenay and Vezelay (about 1 hour from Percey).
  
• Auxerre and Troyes are the cities to visit if you wish to see impressive cathedrals. Cathedral of Auxerre has a "Son & Lumière" every summer.
  

City's, towns and villages

• Percey lies between Auxerre, the capital of the Yonne, Troyes in the Champagne area and Avallon on the border of the national parc the Morvan.
  
• Closeby are St. Florentin with its medieval church and Tonnerre with its mysterious Fosse Dionne.
  
• Just 20 minutes away lies Chablis, where on every corner of the street you can taste the best white wines the region has to offer.
  
• The medieval town of Noyers sur Serein is only 30 minutes away where most of the fortress walls and donjons' are still in place.
  

Shopping

• The historical cities of Auxerre, Sens and Troyes will provide you with a great day out and a varied selection of shops.
  
• Serious shoppers can go to Paris - only 1.5 hours away by train right to the heart of Paris.
