Accommodation (Self Catering Gite, sleeps: 9)
Five holiday cottages created from barns and stables attached to the farmhouse on a ten acre site which includes a large L-shaped heated swimming pool.
A games barn with table tennis, snooker and a video library of around 600 titles.
A new all-weather tennis court has been installed, so make sure you bring your tennis kit! We will provide racquets and balls.
The Stable Cottages (Sleeps 4+sofa bed)

The Farmhouse
- dating from 1822, is an ideal venue for two families wishing to holiday together.
- ground floor has a large kitchen/dining room leading to a living room equipped with Sky television which also receives all BBC radio and television channels
- master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and there are a further three bedrooms and two bathrooms
- private garden is almost completely enclosed and has plenty of shade with the large willow trees.
- Not available in low season
During high season, bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.
There is no extra charge for the number of guests in each cottage but there is a charge for the hire of a folding bed.
Prices include electricity (except in low season) water and the use of all facilities.
All cottages include:
- Washing machine, electric cooker, refrigerator, television, video and DVD players, electric heater
- paved terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
- there is a double sofa bed in each living room
Locality (close to: Beaugeay)
Set among picturesque ruins, this ten acre site includes a large L-shaped heated swimming pool (open April-October) , a sandpit, swings and climbing frame, a Wendy house, badminton, petanque etc.
A large natural pond teems with wildlife and there are a number of fruit trees from which the guests can indulge and enjoy.
A games barn has table tennis, billiards etc. and houses the video and DVD library of around 600 titles.
A book library of about 1500 titles, is spread amongst the cottages.
The nearest village, St. Agnant, is under 5 minutes away and has a good supermarket which also provides excellent take-away meals.
Plenty to see and do, with historic towns, like La Rochelle and Saintes, lively seaside resorts such as Royan all within about half an hour's drive.
Rochefort (15 mins.) is the nearest large town with a superb morning market, good shops, museums and historic buildings.
Closeby are some smaller towns like the citadel of Brouage, as well as chateaux and the glorious beaches of the Cτte Sauvage and the I'le d'Oleron.
Nearest beach is only about 6km away.
